Ivanka Trump, the Jewish daughter of US President-elect Donald Trump, and her three children and husband Jared Kushner were reportedly harassed by a passenger on a domestic US flight on Thursday.
The five were on board a JetBlue flight at JFK airport in New Yorkwhen they were approached by a passenger who is said to have told Ivanka Trump that her father “was ruining the country.”
“Why is she on our flight? She should be flying private,” the man, identified by the popular celebrity gossip site TMZ as Dan Goldstein, a Jewish lawyer from Brooklyn, then reportedly said.
Goldstein, who was holding a child in his arms, was subsequently escorted off the plane with his family. “You’re kicking me off for expressing my opinion?” he is said to have shouted.
According to one witness cited by TMZ, Trump ignored Goldstein’s remarks and tried to distract her young children with crayons.

Goldstein’s husband, Matthew Lasner, disputed the report that he had been confrontational with Trump, writing on Twitter that: “My husband expressed his displeasure in a calm tone, JetBlue staff overheard, and they kicked us off the plane.”
TMZ reported that an hour before the incident, Lasner had tweeted: “Ivanka and Jared at JFK T5, flying commercial. My husband chasing them down to harass them.” Lasner’s Twitter account now appears to be deleted.
JetBlue said in a statement: “The decision to remove a customer from a flight is not taken lightly. If the crew determines that a customer is causing conflict on the aircraft, the customer will be asked to deplane, especially if the crew feels the situation runs the risk of escalation during flight. Our team worked to re-accommodate the party on the next available flight.”
A representative for Trump told NBC News that the flight the president-elect’s daughter was on was headed to San Francisco, with a final destination in Hawaii.
